I registered as a Junior Trainee Interpreter (JTI) in January 2009.
I am an associate member of The Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI) and am registered with Signature: Excellence in Communication with Deaf and Deafblind People; formerly known as The Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People (CACDP).
After stuying English Literature at University, I worked full time at Pravins Jewellers. From there I obtained employment as an Apprentice Interpreter with BSL Futures, and attended the Individual Interpreter Development Programme (IIDP).
Currently I am employed by The Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD) as a Communication's Assitant for the Legal Services Department. |
